Always wanted to try knitting a simple but beautiful lace pattern? Need a beautiful pair of knitted gloves for winter? Well this may be the course for you!
Rachael & Ruth will guide you through the steps, over 2 x 2.5 hour sessions. Ruth has designed the Lainsley Hill Gloves to be knit using the magic loop method, and mini dpns for the fingers and thumb. Classes will be kept small so everyone gets the support they need.
You will learn:
* Twisted rib cuff
- Lace knitting in the round
- How to follow a chart for lace
*How to knit a thumb gusset
*How to knit fingers
Skills needed:
To be able to knit and purl and work in the round. This is an intermediate skill level course.
The Lainsley Hill Glove kit is included in the price of the course. (Worth £23 - 100g local wool and pattern)
You'll also need to bring the following:
2.75 dpns or 80cm circular for magic loop
2.75mm x 5” dpns.

Waste yarn
