Clougha Pike Cowl by Ruth Matthews
Clougha Pike Cowl is named after the craggy hill in Quernmore, near Lancaster. It is a cosy cowl knit in Northern Yarn Mamó - made from the fleeces of the sheep that graze in the nearby fells and fields. Mamó is worsted spun, 3 ply DK, making it perfect for the cables and textures that reflect the twisting paths and rugged terrain covered in bilberries and heather. (We recently hiked up Clougha with our cowls - see photos!)
The kit contains the yarn and pattern as follows:
3 x 50g balls of Mamó
1 x printed pattern
You'll need:
* 4mm & 4.5mm 60cm circular needles, or a size to achieve gauge 20sts x 28 rounds.
* Cable needle
* Tapestry needle
* Stitch markers
