Inspired by the wardrobe staples we always end up wearing, Foundations: Lore is a sweater collection celebrating our DK-weight 100% lambswool from the Romney sheep breed. In this beginner-friendly collection, you will find relaxed fits, lots of texture and special details that take your handknits to another level.
Rannerdale is a super-wearable raglan pullover with a stylish folded neckband and pretty cable detail-ing down the center of both sleeves. It is constructed seamlessly from the top down and uses short rows to create a slight scoop at the front neck. Designed for Lore by Kari-Helene Rane, this warm and lofty layering sweater will fit seamlessly into any handmade wardrobe.

NEEDLES
3.5mm (US 4) circular needles or double-pointed needles for working a small circumference in the round
Two 3.5mm (US 4) 40 cm (16 in) circular needles. (The second one is for joining the collar edging; us-ing one in a size that’s close will be fine if you don’t have two the same size)
3.5mm (US 4) 60-120 cm (24-48 in) circular needle for working yoke and body
4mm (US 6) circular needles or double-pointed needles for working a small circumference in the round (or size to obtain gauge)
4mm (US 6) 40 cm (16 in) circular needle (or size to obtain gauge) 4mm (US 6) 60-120 cm (24-48 in) circular needle for working yoke and body (or size to obtain gauge)
Note: Choose the size of circular needle based on the chest circumference of your size; use a needle no longer than that measurement.
